What is Septoplasty | Deviated Septum Surgery?

Septoplasty corrects a deviated septum — the wall of bone and cartilage dividing the two sides of the nose — to restore normal breathing. All incisions are made inside the nose with no external scars or change to the outside appearance. Performed as a day case under TIVA general anaesthetic, takes around 1 to 1.5 hours, with most patients noticing a clear improvement in airflow within a few weeks of surgery.
