Rhinophyma Surgery

Rhinophyma surgery treats a severe form of phymatous rosacea that causes the nose to become progressively thickened, bulbous, and red. Most commonly affecting men over 50, the condition can also obstruct breathing in advanced cases. At Centre for Surgery we use CO2 or erbium laser ablation — sometimes combined with careful scalpel debulking — to reshape the nose and restore a natural contour. Most patients need only a single treatment session.
