What is Revision Rhinoplasty?

Revision rhinoplasty — sometimes called secondary rhinoplasty — is a second nose operation performed to correct problems left behind by a previous rhinoplasty. Concerns may be cosmetic (an unsatisfactory shape, asymmetry, irregularities), functional (breathing difficulty, collapse, obstruction), or both. It’s one of the most technically demanding operations in facial plastic surgery and requires specific revision experience. Cartilage grafts from the ear or rib are commonly needed to rebuild structural support.
